Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping at Excentric. We want you to be happy with your purchase, but we understand that you may occasionally need to return goods. We accept return application made within 7 business days from date of delivery. Contact us on onkloof@excentric-hair.co.za for more information.

Conditions of return

  • Depending on the nature of the item and the reason for return, we accept returns within 7 business days from date of delivery.
  • Only items that are in their original packaging and sealed will be eligible for return.
  • All returns must be accompanied by the dispatch note received when your order was delivered
  • All returns must be accompanied by the original tax invoice emailed to you when your order was processed.
  • The cost of collecting any returned goods will be deducted from your refund or added to the delivery of the exchanged product.
  • Our delivery agents are not authorised to accept goods for return on delivery.

Common reasons for returning goods

There may specific conditions under which you would like to return goods. We have listed the most common below, together with a short description of our policy.

I’ve changed my mind and no longer want the product.

We recommend being sure of your purchase decision before proceeding with your transaction. However, should you make a purchasing decision as a result of direct marketing, we will accept your return in compliance with The South African National Consumer Protection Act (CPA), within 5 business days of delivery.

I purchased the incorrect item.

We recommend that you ensure you have the correct items in your cart at the point of check-out. However, we understand that errors may occur and therefore accept returns of incorrect items purchased up to 7 business days from delivery.

The goods are damaged or defective.

Products

We need dated photographic proof of the damage or defect. This needs to be added during the Returns process.

Electrical Tools

Repairs, replacements, or refunds will be granted in accordance with the manufacturer’s guarantee and in accordance with the CPA. Please ensure that your Cloud Nine tools are registered within 14 days and that you have read the manufacturer’s returns policy.

May I return an unwanted gift?

We do not offer refunds on unwanted gifts. You are eligible for an online store credit to the value of the product at the time of purchase.

Can I return sale or promotional goods?

Sale and promotional goods are non-refundable.

Goods not eligible for return due to hygiene reasons

  • Hair Accessories i.e. hairbrushes, unless defective.
  • Any opened hair and beauty products.

Refunds

  • Our general policy is to not issue refunds. However, should we find it reasonable to do so after reviewing your return application, we will process a refund into the account from which the purchase was made within 7 business days of notifying you of our decision.
  • Credit card transactions are processed as a reversal through the payment gateway and can take up to 10 working days for clearance.
